Baby Pike has arrived and we all couldn’t be more excited!!

I had the extreme honor of photographing his adorable newness when he was just 8 days old!

His parents, Zach and Katie, just happen to be some of our best friends…

So, we are thrilled that Pike is finally here and we can start creating new memories with their little man!

Future CEO??

Or maybe a star baseball player?

Baseball is his Daddy’s favorite sport!

Santa Baby!

Pike’s Daddy plays the drums, so it’s only fitting that we got some shots of him on Zach’s drum!

Grandpa and Grandma Walker got to visit for a few weeks from Florida.

This was the same rocking chair they used to rock Katie and her siblings in!

Grandpa and Grandma Fogle getting their snuggles in too!

Pike’s nursery is absolutely adorable.

Complete with striped ceilings, a wall of books and plenty of touches from when Zach and Katie were kids –

Pike is sure going to feel warm and cozy in this inviting space!

Congratulations my dear friends on your biggest accomplishment yet!

Pike is just precious and I can’t wait to be there along the journey to witness him grow up.

He is blessed to have you both as his parents!

  • Mary Walker AustinSarah, these photos are such a gift to me as well. Notice the Walker in my name…..I am Katie’s aunt, her dad’s sister…..and on the east coast, so it’s wonderful to see Pike. The photos you took a few months back of the family were fabulous as well. How lucky for Zach and Katie to have you as a friend and lucky for me so I can keep up with my peps way over there. Merry Christmas. Thank you, mary~ReplyCancel

  • Kathryn WalkerBeautiful work! Oddly enough, the one that touches me the most is the 3 sets of feet. Obviously the rest are fabulous! (Santa) Oh, their nursery is awesome. The ceiling is really clever. BTW, I’m Katie’s Aunt in-law married to Uncle Dan,(or possibly out-law). Zach gets us by default. We love them both, and now precious Pike. Your passion for your craft is evident. These are not just photographs, but the telling of a new beginning.

  • Mark and Marilyn StockstillHi Sarah,
We’re Zack’s great aunt and uncle. Karen sent us your photography of Pike as a way of announcement, so congratulations to Katie, Zack and all are in order. Having been in the advertising business, including to-many-to-count product, commercial, and model shoots, I’d like to compliment you on your work. In my opinion—in a area where kitsch is too common—your creativity, composition, and sensitivity shine. Pike is lookin’ good.ReplyCancel

  • Jim and Ellen WalkerThanks again Sarah for loving our family and sharing your wonderful talent with us! Merry Christmas to you and your family and we will continue to pray and look forward to your “new addition” to soon arrive. Love from Jim and Ellen WalkerReplyCancel

    • Sarah PotterThanks you guys! It was so great seeing you both! Enjoy your holidays, too. And, hopefully we’ll get to see you guys again sooner rather than later! 😉ReplyCancel

  • Katie HowellOh my goodness! What a handsome little man! Love every single picture. Love all the poses with hats, love the tie, especially love the ones with the drum. Katie totally looks like her mom and Zack totally looks like his dad, wow! I wonder who Pike will look more like, mommy or daddy?? Oh and I might just have to copy the wall of books idea. I’ve thought about doing something like that but now that i’ve seen how cute it really is, I’m pretty sure a trip to Ikea is in my future. Great job Sarah as usual! Can’t wait to see upcoming pics of my new little nephew Lucas. See you soon.ReplyCancel
