Blake is 10 months {Snohomish County Family Child Photographer}

You may recognize this most adorable butterfly, Blake.

This is my third session with The Reid Family in the last few months. And let me just say, that each time I see these guys I fall a little more in love with them!

August is SMA awareness month. Blake was diagnosed with SMA just before she turned 6 months old.  SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) is a terminal genetic neuromuscular disease that robs children of their ability to walk, talk, eat, swallow and breathe. It is the number one genetic killer of children under 2 years old. There is no cure for SMA.

On August 28, Blake and her family will be walking in the Pacific Northwest Walk and Roll to support CureSMA and their efforts in supporting other children like Blake as well as trying to find a cure for SMA.

Jeff and Stephanie – I am truly so honored and grateful that you guys have chosen me to capture these precious memories for you and your family.  I just want you to know that getting these opportunities to photograph Blake and to spend with your family has forever impacted my life.

Your incredible strength and courage inspires me to be a better parent and to appreciate all the little things.
