Jayna & Tim’s Winter Wedding in Seattle
Jayna and Tim were married on December 17, 2016 at the Great Hall at Green Lake.
It was barely 25 degrees on the day of their wedding. And although it was incredibly cold outside, it was beautiful. We even got a few sprinkles of snow throughout the day and just before sundown, we lucked out and the sun peaked through the clouds giving us some of that delicious winter golden light.
Danny and I had so much fun working with Jayna and Tim and their entire bridal party. Even when we made them stand out in the freezing cold for some photos, they did so without any complaint! All of the details of this wedding came together perfectly. Seeing all the love that surrounded these two on their special day filled my heart with so much joy. They’ve been searching and praying for the other for many, many years and to see it all finally come to fruition is just awesome to witness.
Tim and Jayna – Thank you guys so much for trusting in us to document these memories for you. I hope you guys had a wonderful honeymoon in Paris! All the best to you both and you begin this new chapter together!
I love capturing all the emotions involved during the first look!
Here’s a shot of Jayna FaceTiming with her Dad. He was diagnosed with ALS last year and due to it progressing so quickly, he wasn’t able to physically attend the wedding. But, thanks to modern technology, was able to be there as much as he possibly could throughout the use of that awesome feature. They are telling him all about the yummy cake! 😉
Unfortunately, Jayna’s dad went to be with Jesus last week. He was a wonderful, Christ loving man. I know that he was sooooo unbelievable proud of you Jayna. You are a kind and gentle soul just like him. My heart aches for you and your families loss. But, I am so thankful that he was able to get to know Tim and was here to see you exchange your vows with the love of your life.
