The Spore Family {Seattle Family Photographer}

I met up with the Spore family last weekend for a photo session since they had family in town from out of state.

We really lucked out with some glorious spring weather…

However, choosing to do our session at the UW quad with the cherry blossoms proved that we weren’t the only ones with that idea!

There were sooooo many people that came out to see the awesome blooms at their peak,

it made for some improvising on our part.

But, nonetheless it worked out and I just love this family and was so grateful I had to opportunity to photograph them again!

Michelle with her mom, Carol Ann. She was visiting from the Bay Area.

Brent and Michelle ~  I’m pretty sure you couldn’t be a cuter couple if you tried!

Cuddles with Mama!

Cadence has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes!

The Branting Family {Edmonds Family Photographer}

I was so excited when Jeni and Kitzen contacted me to set up a family session.
I met them back in December when I photographed their precious newborn daughter, Adrienne.

These ladies are wonderful moms and their 3 adorable kids are proof of it!

Many would say that they have their hands full with three kids under the age of three…

but this family is so kind and loving with one another – it’s always a joy to photograph them.

Big brother Pel’el

Atlua and her gorgeous red hair!

Sibling Snuggles!

Adrienne is loving her tummy time!

So precious….

Hammin’ it up!

Thank you again for allowing me capture this time in your lives!

Chloe is 6 months! {Everett Child Photographer}

I was so excited to get to photograph Chloe again -

She has changed so much since her newborn and 3 month sessions!

She is such a HAPPY baby…full of smiles and giggles.

The perfect subject for me to photograph on my first “official” shoot since having Lucas!

SERIOUSLY?!? Those eyes…..Gorgeous!

Baby Toes!

Giggles Galore!

Look who’s standin’!

Teething much?!? ;)

We had to improvise a bit, since our original plan was for an outdoor shoot at the park  -

However, being that it’s March in Washington, that’s always gamble!

It was freezing and windy that day, so we bundled up for a few quick shots outside!

Chloe didn’t seem to mind the wind too much!

Such an adorable family!! XOXO

Looking forward to Chloe’s 9 month shoot -

hopefully by then the weather will be a little more cooperative for us!

Lucas James ~ 7 Days Old {Lake Stevens Newborn Photographer}

We welcomed LUCAS JAMES POTTER into this world on

February 11, 2013 at 11:29 AM.

He weighed 8lbs 9oz and was 20 inches long.

We are so blessed by this little miracle.

Lucas’ Daddy is a hunter. He’s been hunting every year with his dad since he was a little guy.

Danny was thrilled when we found out we were having a boy…now he will get to carry on the tradition with his son.

So, when I came across this knit hat…I couldn’t resist it!

Baybee Toes!

A few pictures of his nursery…

Here is the handmade quilt that my Aunt Joyce made for Lucas.

She made one for Kylie too and I’m so grateful she took the time to hand stitch this one for Lucas!

Being a model is tiring work!

(Shh! I know it’s probably gas, but it’s still cute and I will pretend he was smiling at me!)

So in love with this shot below.

Dad and son looking at each other. The tattoo is a tribute to Kylie and all of our struggles we went through to get her.

(He’s currently designing one for Lucas, too!)

Trying to capture some sibling shots when you are dealing with a newborn and a 14 month old…

This proved to be quite difficult. so we didn’t push it too hard!

Kylie is giving her little brother a kiss!

My cup runneth over…

All my Loves.

Many thanks to my parents who came over and entertained Kylie while we photographed Lucas.

Also to my husband, Danny, for all of his help not only during this session.

but for all of your help during my c-section recovery…

I am so grateful for you and to see you as a father makes me love you even more!!

Do you have to go back to work next week?!? ;)

Kylie is ONE year old!!

I’m a little behind in posting this, but with all the holiday hustle and bustle – today was the first day I could get around to it!

So, our little lady bug turned a year old on Dec 9!

It went by soooo incredibly fast…I can’t even believe it. She’s grown up so much this past year and I’ve so enjoyed watching every step of the process.

(well, maybe all but the teething parts! ;) )

We had a family birthday party for her at our house and it was a lady bug theme!

Yup, I made her a tutu…of course, she was less than thrilled with it and it only stayed on about 10 minutes!

Cake Time!!

Classic crying with the cake pose!

Not to worry, she was all smiles and giggles when she got to try out her new riding Zebra toy from

Grandma and Grandpa Potter!

We headed to the park to get some outdoor shots of her at 12 months old…However, seeing that she was born in December and we live in Washington -

it was FREEZING outside!

So, we just did a quick shoot and made sure to keep her bundled up.

She didn’t seem to mind the cold for the most part and was just thrilled to be able to run around in the park!

She loves it when Daddy makes her fly!

Love to hear these giggles!

Curious.Curious. Curious!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

We love you more than words and are so blessed to be your parents!!

Thank you for bringing so much joy and love into our hearts!

2012 – A Look Back

I cannot believe today is the last day of 2012! What a year this has been.

As we head into a new year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect back on what a great year 2012 was for me both personally and professionally.

I got to enjoy being a mom for the first time this year and cannot believe Kylie is already a year old. And, as an added blessing, we will be welcoming Baby #2 this February.

This year also marked the first full year I was working full time as a photographer and not just in addition to another job.

(Well, full-time when I wasn’t busy being a mom or being bogged down with morning sickness from pregnancy #2!)

I cannot thank my clients enough for what has been my busiest year to date!

I appreciate all the referrals, repeat clients and kind words of encouragement from everyone.

Photography is my passion and to be able to do this as my “job” is truly a blessing.

I hope that 2013 brings many new faces as well as returning clients…

because that in my mind is one of the greatest compliments!

I will be on maternity leave from now until probably mid-March depending on when

Baby Lucas decides to make his grand arrival.

In the meantime…

Here are some of my favorite photos from my 2012 sessions!

A very Happy New Year to you all!

Baby Pike ~ 8 Days Old {Woodinville Newborn Photographer}

Baby Pike has arrived and we all couldn’t be more excited!!

I had the extreme honor of photographing his adorable newness when he was just 8 days old!

His parents, Zach and Katie, just happen to be some of our best friends…

So, we are thrilled that Pike is finally here and we can start creating new memories with their little man!

Future CEO??

Or maybe a star baseball player?

Baseball is his Daddy’s favorite sport!

Santa Baby!

Pike’s Daddy plays the drums, so it’s only fitting that we got some shots of him on Zach’s drum!

Grandpa and Grandma Walker got to visit for a few weeks from Florida.

This was the same rocking chair they used to rock Katie and her siblings in!

Grandpa and Grandma Fogle getting their snuggles in too!

Pike’s nursery is absolutely adorable.

Complete with striped ceilings, a wall of books and plenty of touches from when Zach and Katie were kids -

Pike is sure going to feel warm and cozy in this inviting space!

Congratulations my dear friends on your biggest accomplishment yet!

Pike is just precious and I can’t wait to be there along the journey to witness him grow up.

He is blessed to have you both as his parents!

Kyra & Adam {Snohomish Wedding Photographer}

Kyra and Adam were married the day after Thanksgiving at the Snohomish Event Center.

While the weather didn’t work out as we had hoped (in fact – it poured – ALL DAY LONG!), nothing was going dampen the mood or get in the way for these two  on their special day.

Every wedding I’ve photographed has been so different, it’s one of the things that makes shooting weddings so fun.

When Kyra told me she’d be having THREE outfit changes and that they’d be greeting their guests BEFORE the ceremony during a cocktail hour -

I knew this wedding was going to be fun!

Pretty sure these lil cuties stole the show!

Sibling lovin’!

Watching Roxanne and Kyra giggle like this all day long just proved how deep their sisterly bond goes.

They are so much fun together!

You may now kiss your bride! Woo Hoo!

Kyra and Adam – I wish you nothing but love and happiness as you start your new life together.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day and witness the love you two share!

All my best!

Adrienne – 9 Days Old! {Edmonds Newborn Photographer}

These mommas sure do have their work cut out for them. With 3 adorable babes under the age of three -

Many would assume their house may be chaos…But that is not the case!

I arrived and while setting up all my stuff  Adrienne’s older brother and sister were quite curious as to what was going on in their living room but they were so good while I was taking photos.

Sweet Adrienne was just 9 days old when I got the pleasure of doing her newborn session.

She was a total champ for the whole time!

Mom Kitzen hand crocheted this adorable outfit and all three kiddos have worn it!

Getting sleepy….this model stuff is hard work!

Lil’ wave for the camera.

Pretty sure there is nothing cuter than baby feet!

Older brother Pel’el  (2.5 years) posing!  Love those eyes!

Atlua (11 months) and her gorgeous red locks!

They weren’t exactly thrilled with the idea of a sibling photo! LOL!

Kitzen and Jennifer –  Thank you so much for letting me come into your home and photograph your precious family.

I wish you ladies all the best!

Chloe is 3 months old! {Everett Baby Photographer}

It’s hard to believe that Chloe is already 3 months old!

The last time I photographed her she was only 11 days old! It’s amazing how fast time flies and how quickly our precious babes grow up!

I am looking forward to being able to watch Chloe grow and change during her first year.

Look at those cheeks!

Giggles for her Momma!

Ah, the infamous crying Christmas photo!

I think every baby has one. At least she didn’t do that when her parents took her to meet Santa Claus!

Much better! Cozy on Dad’s chest.

Clearly, we were keeping her awake with all the photo taking! :)

She showed us and just went to sleep!

So precious.

“Sleep in heavenly peace” Little one!

All tuckered out! This being cute for photos is hard work!

I hope you guys enjoy your first holiday season as a family!

Looking forward to seeing how much she has changed for our 6 month session.
