The School Sessions {Seattle Portrait Photographer}

Anyone who knows anything about me knows that I have a huge passion for education.

Along with education, I have an even bigger passion for children.

Prior to becoming a full time photographer, I worked in the education field for over 12 years!

Education is so very important and necessary for ALL children to have access to.

For these reasons, I am so excited to announce that I will be joining forces with hundreds of other

professional photographers across the globe for a one day event called The School Sessions!

The School Sessions is a one-day event across the globe on Sunday, April 12, 2015 to raise $200,000 to build a school in Haiti. Portrait photographers can sign up online to photograph a portrait session and donate 100% of fees to The School Sessions.

$200,000 will buy land and build a ten-classroom school for 220 students. The previous building was destroyed by the 2010 earthquake and these children (ages 3 to 16) are in need of a earthquake and hurricane-proof school to learn and grow.

By empowering hundreds of photographers across the world with a simple way to give back, together we will meet our goal. Join us in Making Haiti’s Future Bright.

Here’s a great video explaining why this is such a wonderful cause.

The founders of The School Sessions, Jamie & Randy Watson are an amazingly dedicated couple who came up with this wonderful idea. Here’s more about their vision and how this project came to be!

Are you interested in helping out? Schedule a portrait session with me for Sunday, April 12. I will donate 100% of the proceeds to The School Sessions. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these deserving children.

If you are a photographer and would like to also participate, be sure to sign up here. Let’s do what we can for the lives of these children and share our blessings. Remember to live life to its fullest and always pay it forward!
