We welcomed LUCAS JAMES POTTER into this world on

February 11, 2013 at 11:29 AM.

He weighed 8lbs 9oz and was 20 inches long.

We are so blessed by this little miracle.

Lucas’ Daddy is a hunter. He’s been hunting every year with his dad since he was a little guy.

Danny was thrilled when we found out we were having a boy…now he will get to carry on the tradition with his son.

So, when I came across this knit hat…I couldn’t resist it!

Baybee Toes!

A few pictures of his nursery…

WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK

Here is the handmade quilt that my Aunt Joyce made for Lucas.

She made one for Kylie too and I’m so grateful she took the time to hand stitch this one for Lucas!

Being a model is tiring work!

Smile!!

(Shh! I know it’s probably gas, but it’s still cute and I will pretend he was smiling at me!)

So in love with this shot below.

Dad and son looking at each other. The tattoo is a tribute to Kylie and all of our struggles we went through to get her.

(He’s currently designing one for Lucas, too!)

Trying to capture some sibling shots when you are dealing with a newborn and a 14 month old…

This proved to be quite difficult. so we didn’t push it too hard!

Kylie is giving her little brother a kiss!

My cup runneth over…

All my Loves.

Many thanks to my parents who came over and entertained Kylie while we photographed Lucas.

Also to my husband, Danny, for all of his help not only during this session.

but for all of your help during my c-section recovery…

I am so grateful for you and to see you as a father makes me love you even more!!

Do you have to go back to work next week?!? 😉

  • MaryKateSarah,

I am continually impressed with how clearly you capture moments. I’ve seen so many ‘pictures’ in my life, but yours are always ‘art’ and capture slices of life. <3ReplyCancel
