Kylie’s Nursery

I’ve had quite a few requests to post pictures of Kylie’s nursery…and since I am sitting here – 39 weeks pregnant – anxiously awaiting her arrival, I figured I’d finally post some pics!!

(Oh, and for those of you who missed my previous post about our journey to get the this point…That can be read HERE.)

This wall below is not quite complete…

We are planning on ordering more standout prints of the adorable little miss once she’s here to surround the one of us that is hanging there now.

(I am sure she will be sick of my camera before she can even say the word!)

Gizmo is excited for her arrival too!

We’ll see how he feels about that once she actually get here though!

One of my favorite quotes ~  for my favorite girl.

It’s a shame she doesn’t have anything to wear!!

The blanket below was a hand cross-stitched gift that my mom made. LOVE!!  Thanks Gramma Karen!

And here is a handmade quilt from my Aunt Joyce that she made for Kylie.

Simba is truly the curious kitty!

And of course, I couldn’t pass up this outfit!!

There is no doubt in my mind that this will be the BEST Christmas EVER!

  • Jennifer - WOW! That is quite a shoe collection the little lady has. At first I thought you had used the shoe organizer for stuffed animals. Started my day with a big smile. We can’t wait to meet her and you did a beautiful job on the nursery.ReplyCancel

  • Mollie Mitchell - <3 it all! Can't wait!!!ReplyCancel

  • Katie - The room looks great! Good job to both of you on all your creative and colorful works of art. Kylie is going to love her room. I love her customized bobby! I didn’t know bobby’s could be custom. And all her framed sayings made my heart throb…so sweet. Interior decorating is my passion (not dentistry) and I don’t see many people that can pull off a truly adorable, clean, & organized nursery but I would rate your space with an A++ !! Kylie is a lucky girl to have a mom who cares enough to really make her room a special place. She’ll appreciate it someday. I know that as a little girl I always loved my room because mom always made it special and decorated it so cute for me. Can’t wait for her arrival !! Can you ask Kylie to come tomorrow cause Aunt Katie has the day off. LOL

  • jenny - wow – such a beautiful room – such an amazing mama you (are) will be!ReplyCancel

  • Carrie Hamilton Engbert - Kylie’s room is beautiful! She is such a lucky little girl to have so many wonderful people in her life! It is obvious that you two will make wonderful parents, partly because the wait has been so long. A true girly girl, she already has an impressive shoe collection, but I like even better that she has a growing library. Enjoy every moment because time flies too fast!ReplyCancel

  • Shannon Carter - So beautiful. Simba is already protecting Kylie’s digs – love it. What a cute little outfit -she surely is the best gift EVER!
She’s going to have to spit up and pooped out her diaper a lot so she can wear each outfit at least once! I’ve gone the opposite direction now with clothes. I think Zae has only 7 pairs of underwear and Rora has 3 pairs of pants! 🙂
    Can’t wait to see her!!!!!!ReplyCancel

    • Shannon Carter - okay that was supposed to be “poop” out her diaper. I think that says something about my mood! Is it Winter break yet?ReplyCancel

  • MaryKate - omgosh!!! so pretty… she’s supposed to come tomorrow, right? On my birthday? *grin*

can’t wait to see her when she gets here.
