As a photographer, I am constantly learning and trying to improve my skills.
It’s one of the things I love about photography – the ability to constantly challenge myself and step outside of my comfort zone.
Along with the technical side of things, I LOVE scouting out new locations to shoot. Often we will just throw the kids in the car and go for a drive and see where we end up.
Last week the weather was downright warm and it felt like Spring had arrived, so we loaded the kids in the car and grabbed the cameras and went for a drive.
(Yay for self-timers and improvised use of driftwood as a tripod!)
We found a great little beach and decided to let the kids play around and get completely wet and sandy.
It made us sooooo excited for what’s to come for them this Spring and Summer.
They had a complete blast playing (and eating) the sand!
Look Ma! Sand!
Yummy…who needs real food?!?
I’ve been showing Danny the ropes when it comes to taking photos and using the “fancy” cameras.
It’s great that it’s something we get to enjoy doing together and I must say, he’s got quite the eye for it!
Such a ham!
My second shooter in action! 😉
